data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Historically, Suchitoto was made up of four neighborhoods: Santa Lucia or Barrio de Los Indios, Condega, Campo Santo and Tabanco. By 1852 these increased to five, El Tabanco, Los Indios, La Bolsa, Condega and Barrio Nuevo or La Cruz. Over the years, the number of barrios increased to six. The names were changed to Christian names related to some saint.<\/p><p>Today, the number of neighborhoods has remained at six: Barrio el Centro, Barrio San Jos\u00e9, Barrio El Calvario, Barrio Santa Lucia, Barrio La Cruz and Barrio Concepci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Each of them is identified with a symbol and a representative color. These identifications have been created recently and are linked to certain characteristics of their own. In fact, it was in 1953 when the famous Salvadoran filmmaker, Alejandro Cotto, assigned a symbol to each neighborhood:\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-eafe539\" data-id=\"eafe539\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div The color that identifies it: yellow.<\/p><p><strong>Barrio Concepci\u00f3n<\/strong>: its symbol is \"The food basket\" in reference to the fertility of its land on the shore of Lake Suchitl\u00e1n, which allows the production of vegetables.
